Playing Videos Games May Help with Premature Ejaculation
In a study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine, 396 men were studied to see if gaming has any effect on their sex lives. The most surprising results were that the regular play of video games resulted in a lower sex drive as well as lower rates of premature ejaculation. One theory proposed is that gaming increases levels of dopamine, a “pleasure hormone” released during the play of video games and also when achieving orgasm. Thus, the increased dopamine lowers sex drive and alters the ejaculatory response.
When it came to erectile function, the researchers found no difference between games and non-gamers. My theory on this is that the gamers studied were 18-50 so level of erectile dysfunction is going to be low in this group, anyway.
I like to game so I tried some of my favorite games prior to sex and it didn’t help. Back to using my favorite delay spray !!
