myHixel Review : Just What is This Thing?
I’m always wary of products that claim to be backed by scientific research but fail to provide any sort of links to that actual scientific research, and that’s really how I started this myHixel review. I searched for any links to scientific articles backing up the product and was pleasantly surprised. They were front and center!
They put the science behind the product right there for everyone to see.
So what is this rather sex-toy-looking device all about? And how on earth does it help men with premature ejaculation? This is the question that I try answering in this review!
myHixel Review: What’s the Science all about?
In the most reductive terms, the myHixel medical device is one that familiarizes men with premature ejaculation with how it feels inside a vagina. It has an inner canal that works in conjunction with vibration and heating to reproduce the feeling of penetration.
This allows men with premature ejaculation to exercise what it feels like to experience penetration but just without a partner. The accompanying mobile app called myHixel Play is sort of the control center of the medical device allowing for control over the vibration and heat.
This cognitive-behavioral remediation allows, over time, climax control. Climax control really is the main focus here and should be of any therapy claiming to help with premature ejaculation.
The accompanying app has medically approved and thoroughly researched programs that take a user through a series of challenges that help exercise control over ejaculation. These programs, they claim, have been scientifically designed to help men with premature ejaculation treat it.
What I found most fun about the whole thing was the gamification of the entire process. It’s essentially a reward system that awards you when you complete challenges and tasks within the program.
But does it work?
myHixel Review: Amazon Reviews
This guy seems to think so! We’ll have to take his word for it because he’s the only one who has left the myHixel product a review on their page. I will cut myHixel some slack it is a relatively new device, and the global pandemic has not made things any easier here. So it is understandable when they say they are out of stock, or not enough people have left a review.
This does make things a little difficult with my review though. Usually, Amazon is my bible when it comes to reviewing a product from a buyer’s perspective. But fret not! There are other sources that talk about the product in great detail!
myHixel Trustpilot reviews
Trustpilot is a review aggregator site and allows for a holistic view of a product, service, or even websites. It has been my go-to for products when I can’t find any on Amazon. So what do the good people rate and have to say about myHixel and their product?
Pretty positive! 47% of the 32 who left a review rated the product as excellent. While about 3% rated it as poor.
Let’s see what they have to say:
This reviewer was pretty impressed with the product and said that they were surprised with the product actually performing. This is a consistent theme that I noticed with the reviews that I came across. There was an air of ‘this is too good to be true’ but it actually was true!
Another consistent theme that I noticed within the myHixel review section that I found were of, well consistency! A lot of men say that that product did work but all it required was perseverance and consistency to actually achieve results. Which in fact is something that I in my use found to be true as well – and perhaps is its most major drawback.
myHixel Negative Review
Although there were a couple of 1-star reviews on the product on Trustpilot, there were no corresponding written reviews to go along with the review. This myHixel review would not be complete without the full picture though! So I did my due diligence and found an actual critical review hidden under a ‘positive’ review
The ‘negative’ reviews revolve a lot around how people just have not started to notice the effects of using medical device daily. Indeed, the device does require about 25 minutes of daily usage for 8 weeks. Any break in these requirements can mean vastly different results for different people. So as a warning, – your mileage may vary.
My Experience and the Truth
This myHixel review would not be complete without my own personal experience with the product and what I gleaned off using it for a while. Again, just as a general disclaimer, your mileage may vary so take my experience with the product with a grain of salt.
I received my product and downloaded the app as soon as I could. The setup was fairly simple, all I had to do was follow a few simple steps and you have connected the device with your phone and you are ready to go. The app lets you select from a number of programs. I recommend starting off from the lowest tier-one available since it is a great starting point for beginners.
I’ll be honest, with constant use every day, I was able to start to see a difference. Not in timing but in the general sensations that I was feeling. It felt very much like I was inside a vagina, to be honest. The warmth, motion, and heat were set just perfectly right.
myHixel Drawbacks
I followed the program to the best of my abilities until I just could not. And this is where my first point of contention arises with the product. It demands a strict level of consistency. The consistency that not everyone might have. I certainly had to struggle sometimes to remember to use the product. There are times where I did not use it for an extended period of time simply because I did not have 25 minutes each day to spare.
But if you are the sort of person who has premature ejaculation and has 25 minutes to spare every day, then this product is the absolute best therapy you can get. I cannot say for sure that it will cure you of your premature ejaculation in this myHixel review, though the marketing does claim it helps you last 7 times longer. Since I could not find the time to complete the program, it is not certain if that is true.
I am going to trust the science on this and agree with the fact that it does improve time in bed, though I just did not ironically have the time to test it out properly!
Key Takeaways
With any review, and especially with products that have to do with your medical health, it is imperative that you check all available reviews and insights into the product. Product marketing should never be trusted on its own and you should always do your due diligence to double-check.
That is exactly what I aimed to do in this myHixel review. I established the legitimacy of the product with the reviews I found online. Amazon did not have much to offer in way of reviews this time so I looked to other sources.
I always try and establish a scientific backing to products as well, and I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to look far to find what I was looking for. myHixel makes it no secret that they invested about $67,000 in research for this product and they have the scientific data to show for it.
This is a product that I recommend, provided you have the time to invest in actually making it happen. Check out a review of Promescent’s VitaFLUX here!
