Desensitized creams are a great solution for those men who are affected by premature ejaculation. The main advantage of these creams and sprays is that they are certain to work and it is something that can be obtained cheaply and easily in natural health stores, drugstores, and online.
Desensitizing creams contain a medical-grade anesthetic drug, usually benzocaine or lidocaine or even both. Anesthetic creams and sprays that contain a numbing agent, such as benzocaine or lidocaine.
Lidocaine is a type of drug that almost all hospitals are permitted to hold all over the world and anesthetics has been used for decades. It’s used as a topical anesthetic.
How Does Lidocaine Work to Treat Premature Ejaculation
Research information and studies show that lidocaine-prilocaine creams work well for stopping premature ejaculation. In a study from 2002, researchers found that a 5% lidocaine-prilocaine cream increased the average pre-ejaculation period by up 8.7 minutes (+/- 1.7 minutes).
Premature ejaculation is a common male sexual disorder in which orgasm and ejaculation occur before the desired moment. The primary therapeutic approach to premature ejaculation has been behavioral and pharmacotherapy. In this study, researchers evaluated the efficacy and optimum usage of lidocaine-prilocaine cream 5% in preventing premature ejaculation. Forty patients were examined in the study group and randomized into four groups, each comprising 10 patients. Patients in group 1 applied lidocaine-prilocaine cream 5% for 20 min, the patients in group 2 applied it for 30 min, and the patients in group 3 applied the cream for 45 min before sexual contact, with all patients covering the penis with a condom. Patients in the fourth group applied a base cream as placebo. In group 1, the pre-ejaculation period increased to 6.71 +/- 2.54 min without any adverse effects. In group 2, although the pre-ejaculation period increased in four patients up to 8.70 +/- 1.70 min, six patients in this group and all patients in group 3 had erection loss because of numbness. In the placebo group, there was no change in their pre-ejaculation period. Therefore, lidocaine-prilocaine cream 5% is effective in premature ejaculation and 20 min of application time before sexual contact is the optimum period.
How to Use Desensitized Cream?
Desensitized creams are applied to the skin and start to work instantly within seconds. If this is your first time using a delay spray, keep in mind that most men find it helpful. You should apply it 5–15 minutes before engaging in sexual activity.
These desensitizing lotions are highly effective for helping men to last longer during sex They work by overcrowding some nerve signals which would otherwise move unhindered between the brain and the skin and thus register pleasure. Challenge your premature ejaculation pe with this solution and forget about any sexual dysfunction.
In some cases, doctors can prescribe oral medications to help with your PE symptoms.
It is also vital to note that nerves do not transmit only pleasure signals which cause arousal but also signals of heat and pain. Therefore, when you use desensitizing creams, you will not only be reducing the pleasurable feelings of sex but also the feelings of the vagina’s warmth.

There are various creams and sprays available on the market, one of the most popular ones being Stud100 (will try that product soon so you can read my Stud100 review on this site), followed by Promescent.
Stud100 has been very popular, mainly because of its price and how well it works. It does have one big drawback though, it’s basically an anesthetic so it will numb your penis quite a lot, and very likely will make your partner numb as well. You can pick up a bottle for less than $10 and it should cover you for quite a few nights. Applied 15-30 minutes before sex, lidocaine-prilocaine cream produces a noticeable effect.
Promescent on the other hand is a little bit more expensive compared to Stud100 but it’s because it uses different components to improve your intercourse. You can read my Promescent review here.
So, stay tuned and wait for the Stud100 review. Meanwhile, please let me know about your experience with desensitizing creams/sprays so we can all heal each other.
